Certification Rules |

The purpose of “certifying” as a Police Dog Team is to show that you and your dog meet certain minimum standards. Meeting these standards ensures reliability on the street and credibility in court. http://www.uspcak9.com/certification/USPCARulebook2009.pdf
PDI (Police Dog I) certification includes obedience, agility, article search, suspect search, and criminal apprehension.
PDII and PDIIX are tracking certifications. Tracking and detector dog certifications are offered together in the Spring. Check the events page for date and location of Region 19 Certifications.
